Power and data cabling systems at the new 2000-student facility at New College Swindon, are contained and protected in multi-compartment Cableline Ambassador trunking from Mita.
Around 2,500 metres of three-compartment DP3 dado trunking has been installed by contractor N G Bailey & Co. Ltd. in the new £11.5 million building officially opened this year by HRH The Duke of Edinburgh.
Cableline Ambassador not only provides efficient segregation of power and data networks, but also offers a high level of protection and security. All corner fittings and joint covers are firmly secured with recessed screws.
The new building incorporates the latest energy-efficient, sound and movement-sensitive heating and lighting systems. Facilities include a 260-seat theatre, dance and media studios, IT suites, a large resources centre, art and design studios, and language and science laboratories.
